School District of Milton

Device Insurance

The School District of Milton offers insurance for families participating in our 1:1 program whose students are using a district-issued learning device. Insurance periods are one year in length and run from the first day of this school year to the first day of next school year. Insurance must be purchased at or before the start of the school year. Families joining the district mid-year are able to purchase insurance prior to being issued a device. To view the insurance declaration please click here.

Insurance premiums and deductibles:
  • M2 MacBook Air Insurance cost: $85
  • First & second incident: $45 deductible
  • Third incident: 50% cost of repair
  • Fourth incident: 100% cost of repair
  • M2 MacBook Air, full replacement cost $779.00
  • A16 iPad take-home (4th-8th grade)
  • Insurance cost:  $40
  • First & second incident:  $20 deductible
  • Third incident:  50% cost of repair
  • Fourth incident:  100% cost of repair
  • A16 iPad, full replacement cost $294.00
