School District of Milton

Device Insurance

The School District of Milton is happy to offer insurance for students who take home a district issued device. Insurance periods are one year in length and run from 9/1 of the current year to 8/31 of the following year. Insurance must be purchased at or before the start of the school year. Families joining the district mid-year are able to purchase insurance prior to being issued a device. To view the insurance declaration please click here.

Insurance premiums and deductibles:
  • Laptop: Insurance cost: $75
  • First incident: $45 deductible
  • Second incident: $45 deductible
  • Third incident: 50% cost of repair
  • Fourth incident: 100% cost of repair
  • MacBook Air M1, full replacement cost $779.00
  • iPad:  Insurance cost:  $40
  • First incident:  $20 deductible
  • Second incident:  $20 deductible
  • Third incident:  50% cost of repair
  • Fourth incident:  100% cost of repair
  •  iPad Air, full replacement cost $300.00
