Message from the Director
As the Director of Student Services, my role is to ensure that all students, regardless of background, ability, or need, have access to the resources and supports they need to thrive in school and in life. This includes overseeing special education services, school counseling, school psychological services, social work, Section 504, and health services. I work closely with staff and families to foster a learning environment that is inclusive, supportive, and responsive to the unique needs of every child.
Professional, I bring over a decade of experience in education. I spent eight years as a special education teacher, working in various districts in south central WI, including right here at Milton High School. Most recently, I served for three years as the Coordinator of Special Education for the School District of Janesville. In these roles, I have gained experience in building effective systems of student support, state and federal compliance, and instructional practice.
My work is rooted in the values of inclusion, strong relationships, integrity, and perseverance. I believe every student deserves a sense of belonging and the opportunity to reach their full potential. That is only possible when schools and families work together with mutual respect and trust.
