Our Community Celebrates
Milton High School's "Reality Check"
More than 80 volunteers and 500 students came together on Thursday, March 9th, 2017 to celebrate a fun-filled day of learning about financial literacy at Milton High School's annual "Reality Check". The event provides students with a life-like financial scenario, and then asks them to make a series of financial decisions that will impact their financial "fate". The event is a lot of fun for students, community leaders, and business owners alike, and seeks to emphasize the importance of financial literacy and good decision making.
Our thanks go out to all of the volunteers and staff that work so hard all day to make this event such an enjoyable learning experience for our students.

State Elected Officals
Visit Milton High School
On Tuesday, Jan. 31st, 2017, students in Mr. Crofts AP government class at Milton High School enjoyed a special visit from Wisconsin State Supreme Court Justice Shirley Abrahamson, WI State Senator Janice Ringhand, and our own WI State Representative Don Vruwink. The three talked about the three branches of government, and how all play various roles under both the federal and state constitution. Students got to witness a ceremonial "swearing in" of Rep. Vruwink performed by Justice Abrahamson, where they learned more about the oath of office and the duties of our state's elected officials. The great learning session ended with a question and answer session for the students.
