MHS Promotes School Safety In
National "Say Something Week"
Students and staff at Milton High School and Milton Middle School promoted school safety and the critical role we all play in keeping our schools safe by joining other districts across the country in Sandy Hook Promise's "Say Something Week". Green bracelets that remind students and staff of the need to always "Say Something" if they feel that they, a student, or a staff member is in an unsafe situation helps us all keep our schools safer, and potentially prevent tragedy. Our thanks to the City of Milton Police Department who helped with this important initiative.

MHS FFA Students
Earn American Degree
Congratulations to MHS FFA Students Caitlyn Wileman (left) and Lacee Karkosh (right), who earned the FFA's highest degree in the American Degree at the National FFA Convention last week. As the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization, the American FFA Degree shows a student's dedication to his or her chapter and state FFA association. The degree demonstrates the effort FFA members apply toward their supervised agricultural experience and the outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement they exhibited throughout their FFA career. As noted by FFA Advisor Stacy Skemp (Middle in photo), fewer than 1 percent of all FFA members earn this prestigious degree. Congrats Caitlyn and Lacee!!!
