Consolidated Elementary School Recognizes
Interpretive Reading Winners
Consolidated Elementary School recognized their interpretive reading contest winners this week. Finalists were chosen for their ability to read with inflection and pronounce words loud enough so all could hear, and with clear distinction so that listeners would be engaged throughout their reading. While all of our K-6 schools participated in the annual competition that emphasizes the district's commitment to literacy, only Consolidated Elementary School students got to have their photo taken with Mrs. Mertes on their school's playground equipment!
