What is PRISM?

    The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has mandated that all districts in the state of Wisconsin provide access to an appropriate program for students identified as gifted and talented.  PRISM  was established to meet this mandate.  This program is flexible, responsive to individual student needs, and provides a variety of options.  These options may include extended learning units, accelerated courses, independent study, and curricular enrichment activities.

    The School District of Milton is committed to providing educational programs through which every student may develop his or her potential to the fullest. Based on individual student needs, the PRISM programming focuses on appropriate, continuous, and systematic educational services for students identified as gifted and talented.
